*Author’s Note: I did this story a little differently than any of my other stories. Hopefully, it doesn’t turn out too bad. It’s in three parts. Enjoy.* “Where am I?” I tried pulling myself off the ground, but was stopped by a sharp pain jolting through my left arm. I bit my lip so hard from trying to prevent a loud scream that I felt blood beginning to trickle down my chin. “You should take it easy. You haven’t fully recovered yet.” The voice from behind startled me. As I looked at him though, he didn’t look that intimidating. He had curly, black hair that was fairly unkempt and wore some tattered clothing. He was about my height, but looked a few years younger than me. He had this very austere manner about him. I looked around. We were inside a crudely built hut of some kind. I noticed an improvised bandage made of large leaves holding a makeshift splint onto my arm. My pants and shirt were torn, revealing some minor cuts and scrapes; the exception being a rather large bruise on the right side of my torso. “Who are you and where are we?” “We are at the bottom of a valley. I found you while I was searching for food. You were pretty beat up, so I carried you back to my hovel. You’ll have to forgive my lack of medical supplies.
